As a Principal Investigator carried out clinical trials on the following projects at CRIUM, Kolkatta:
- Comparative Clinical Trial of UNIM-401 (Oral), 403 (Topical) with and without Munzij-Mushil (Concoctive and Purgative) Therapy in psoriasis Patients.
- A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial to Assess Efficacy and Safety of Coded Unani Formulation UNIM-904 in ZaghtuddamQawiLazmi (Essential Hypertension) - A Multicentric Research study.
- Comparison of clinical efficacy and safety of Unani therapy in the form of systemic UNIM 004 & topical UNIM 005 with sunlight and conventional allopathic therapy in form of PUVA sol and topical mometasone cream in the treatment of clinically stable Baras (vitiligo) a Collaborative Clinical study was done with AIIMS New Delhi.
- Clinical Validation of Unani Pharmacopoeial Formulation Habb-e-Mudir in Ihtibas-ul-Tams (Amenorrhoea)
- Clinical Validation of Unani Pharmacopoeial Formulation Qurs-e-Anjabar in Kasrat-e-Tams (Heavy Menstrual Bleeding)

- A Single-Blind, Randomized, Parallel-Group Study to Compare Efficacy and Safety of an Unani Toothpaste with Colgate in Patients with Amrād Al-Asnān-o-Litha (Periodontal Diseases)
- To Study effectiveness and outcomes of Unani Medicine Prophylactic interventions on population at risk of COVID-19 from Ministy of AYUSH test group 2 ( Unani Joshanda (Decoction)and Tiryaq e Arba) .
- A Randomized Open level Parallel Efficacy drug Trial to Evaluate Efficacy and The Clinical trial of AYUSH-64 is being carried out wherein the cases of COVID-19
- A study on “Expression of miRNA 146a and complex Th1/17 cells in the treatment and disease pathogenesis of Vitiligo”.
- A study on “ Effect of Unani Formulation on Diabetes Mellitus in In-Vitro studies on HepG2 cell line along with In -vivo pilot clinical study”.
- Assessment of Leptin Gene Expression in the Pathogenesis of Psoriasis in relation to Unani Philosophy.
- Evaluation of In vitro Anti- psoriatic Activity of a Novel Polyherbal UNIM Formulation by Multiparametric Analysis
- Evaluation of Unani formulation – Harira for improving mental retardation and exploration of underlying molecular mechanisms using an animal model
- Investigating therapeutic potential of Aftimoon (Cuscutareflexa) in rat model of temporal lobe epilepsy.
- Therapeutic Evaluation of Classical Unani Medicine and its Nanoformulation Against Depression Through Integrated Multi-Omics Approach and In-Vitro/In-Vivo validation.
